Meet Dr. Nathaniel Leedy

Dr. Nathaniel Leedy received his Bachelors of Science degree in Biology from University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee. After college, his sense of adventure and desire to help others inspired him to join the Peace Corps where he volunteered his time protecting marine ecosystems in the Federated States of Micronesia and Republic of Palau. When he returned home, he earned his DMD dental degree from Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Upon graduation, he completed an AEGD residency program and served as a Officer in the United States Navy Dental Corps. After Dr. Leedy’s military commitment expired, he practiced dentistry as an associate for several years before taking over the practice of Dr. Elizabeth Rushin after her retirement.

Dr. Leedy is a member of the American Dental Association, the North Carolina Dental Society, and the Spear Study Club. He received  training in oral conscious sedation while in the military as well as through the Academy of Dental and Medical Anesthesia. He is both ACLS and BLS certified. He has invested in hundreds of hours of continuing education and keeps up with the latest advancements in dentistry so that he can provide the best care possible to his patients.

Dr. Leedy is happily married to his lovely wife, Mai. They live in Raleigh with their two boys, Harrison and Beckett.
