Don’t Put It Off Another Day!

Dear Reader:

Have fear no more! I say with confidence there are not too many people who have more fear than I of dentists; doctors too for that matter. When I was a child I went through all the nightmares you may have experienced - drilling with no anesthetic, tooth extractions, braces - you name it. Once I had a doctor ram a needle into my arm bone. To this day I have a needle phobia. So to say I have a fear of dental procedures is an understatement. Several months ago one of my worst horrors came to pass, a tooth got infected. The pain was intense, but I used hydrocodone to suppress it. That worked for a while, but soon I realized I had to see a dentist. I knew a root canal would probably be necessary. The dread was all consuming. I had not been to a dentist in more than a decade. I performed a search on the Web because I had heard of sedation dentistry. I found Dr. Rushin and read about pill sedation as well as all the testimonial letters. But I was still apprehensive. However, I knew I had to see someone because of the unbearable pain. Dr. Rushin and her excellent staff could not have been kinder. I received a full evaluation and decided to have all the recommended work done. I figured I was in so much pain that a little more would no longer matter. Now I want you to believe this - the pill sedation is incredible. The next thing I remember after taking the second pill set was waking up in my bed. I don’t remember anything that was done nor do I even recall the ride home - total amnesia! This could not be better for a person with my kind of deep rooted fear. All my work could have taken ten or more appointments. I had it all done in two with no pain or fear what-so-ever! If you need your teeth taken care of don’t put it off another day. Have no more fear, you won’t remember a thing. Dr. Rushin and her team know and understand people like us. They are there to help you just as they did me. I can’t complement them enough. Now I won’t be skipping my regular checkups anymore.
