Dear Dr. Rushin and Staff,
Thanks so much. In just
two visits to your office, after our consultation, you had completely turned my life
around. As you know I had not been to the dentist in over 15 years due to my extreme
anxieties. I had some really horrible experiences during childhood with other dentists
which in turn caused my enormous fear. One day while on the internet, I decided to see if
there was any kind of dentistry that would sedate me for any kind of work I needed. There
you were offering to "end my fear". I really don't know how I was able to make
that first call but truly believe it was God sent. You were able to get me in the very
next day, which was perfect for me (less chance of backing out). Once there for my
consultation you understood my tears and began to ease my fears. You never once made me
feel bad about the condition of my teeth. You recognized that my fear was real and not
something I chose to feel. You told me I would not remember anything but coming to the
appointment and maybe remember leaving. You were right, I do not remember anything but
coming in the office. Due to my low tolerance of medication, I could not take the
prescribed meds, but was able to manage my after treatment pain with over the counter
medication. Your office called to check on me and let me know you were there if I needed
anything. What is so wonderful is all your staff gets involved with your patients even if
they themselves did not work directly with them. Now I am done and getting my partials. It
seems like a dream. You and your staff are very special people. Your kindness and
compassion truly meant the world to me. My children will soon be coming to see you because
I do not want them to grow up with the fears I did and not have healthy teeth. Thank you
again for giving me a new life, with a smile to share.
